SILA MATA, luka megurine

Once she lived in a medieval-like world where royalty ruled over the land. She lived as a witch but she was a kind witch. A magic-user who used her magic only to help others and not for her selfish needs and wants. She lived peacefully in a small house inside the woods, isolated, only because she didn't want others to be affected with potions she would brew inside her house that would affect non-magic users dangerously. She knew all kinds of magic but she wasn't good at all of them. The only magic she had expertise on were potions that could cure any kind of sickness.

In her world, a magic-user has her own aura of magic that could affect the effectiveness of his/her own magic. For example, if a person is pure-hearted and kind, her magic inclines more on to the benefit of others such as curing magic like Luka has. But if their aura is dark so is their magic. Luka always avoided dark magic. She hated it and battled against it. She was pure and innocent.

What happened that made Luka dark?
She met and fell in love with a prince but a jealous nun(?)/alchemist(?) had apparently told the prince she was using a spell to make him fall for her. The prince believed and had her to be burned at the stake. He voluntarily cut her hair and tied her on the stake. Luka felt betrayed and her magic started to shift.

What happened after that? How did she end up in Sila Mata?
Luka used the little magic she had left to grow huge black wings that helped her escape. Because of excessive fatigue, she collapsed and found herself in an entirely different world.

How did she find out she was in another reality?
She had asked people around what country she was in, details about the place and found someone who told her about the different incidents that had happened similar to hers. Then it was made clear to her. 

How did she learn to adjust? 
It was a world where magic-users were praised, honored and respected. It was a world very different from hers. Who wouldn't love that? Plus, she wanted to forget her past and start over. What else could she do but live in the moment?

What happened to her magic?
Her magic surprisingly developed in this world. She was no longer restricted and supplies were much more easy to get, compared to her original world. Her magic became stronger and stronger. Because her magic is affected by her feelings, her powers are fairly balanced of defense and offence. She can conjure shields but also attack with the same power, make curing potions but can also curse someone with sickness. 

What's her weakness?
There are actually two: one, she can easily get tired and two, her feelings tend to affect the effectiveness of her magic.

How did she become the duchess of greenwich?
Apparently, she won the hearts of the people when she cured a lot of the sickness that was going around, the fights she had stopped, the calamities she had brought to a halt. Her magic was still the same, for the benefit of others. And the people saw that and admired her for it. Not only was her magic reliable, Luka as a person was charming and manipulative as well.

What happened to the prince?
The prince found out the truth and is currently in search for Luka. Luka on the other hand doesn't want to see him again but still loves him somewhere deep inside the dusty void of her heart. A memory or reminder of him can easily shift her emotions.
