This wasn't what she wanted.

Evelyn stared up at the large hole in the sky, feeling the pure magical energy it radiated down on the small village of Haven. The snow fell just as softly as ever, as if it were completely unaware of the Breach and the demons that continually fell from it. Giant rocks floated in the air beneath the hole, threatening to swallow them - and the rest of the world - if it wasn't closed soon. Evelyn Trevelyan could only stare at the sky, confused as to how she fell out of it in the first place.

She had no memory of the events that had brought her to the small village of Haven. She remembered before the explosion; where mages and templars were supposed to have a peace treaty - the Conclave - within the Temple of Sacred Ashes. She had gone as a representative of her house, as it was a noble house and she just happened to be a mage. So she had gone...and that was it. There was an explosion...but she couldn't even remember that.

And you'd think she could have remembered being blow up.

But she hadn't been. Something had happened - something to kill everyone who had attended the Conclave - and she was the only one who had survived. Now here she was, hated by all of Thedas, because they believed she was the one who had blown the Divine to smithereens. But she hadn't done anything wrong! As far as she knew...

Her hands reached out to grab the bars that kept her from jumping out of the small window and into the snow. Shackles kept her wrists close together so she couldn't move much, but the cool sensation of the metal on her right hand felt strangely calming. As the Breach grew, her hand turned green and sent a fire through her that threatened to stop her heart with each jolt. It hurt, but maybe this was karma for something she'd done?

What if she was the one who had caused the explosion? No...there was no way! She wasn't that strong of a mage, and even if she was, she wouldn't want to kill so many people in one place--

The mark jolted her again, and she fell back to the ground, blacking out from the pain.

This wasn't what she wanted...



evelyn is a mage, meaning she can manipulate magic to do a variety of things. she generally uses magic for healing and elemental attacks, such as ice, thunder and fire. she also has the 'Anchor' mark on her hand, which was used to open rifts to the fade (a spirit world of sorts). however, it is unknown if the anchor works in the three worlds. as of now, she hasn't tried, nor does she want to know.
